A few more things.
Can I subscribe to just the magazine?
Yes. A Chameleon subscription is separate from the software. You do not need to own or buy a Creator Pro licence.
Can my child use free Learner for the challenges?
In principle, all the challenges are designed for Pliro Learner. Some topics include separate, clearly marked ‘Creator Pro’ boxes with optional extras that require Creator Pro. These are separate from the main challenge.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Reading together, asking curious questions and letting your child explain what they are trying is a good start. You can also have a go at the challenges together.
How often is Chameleon published?
Chameleon is a printed magazine published every two months: six issues a year. The first issue is planned for January 2027. Check the current subscription and delivery information when ordering.
Will we need extra equipment?
Pliro challenges need a computer running Pliro. Hardware projects may need a Raspberry Pi and separate components, for example. These are not included with a magazine subscription.
Is there an English edition?
Chameleon is currently available in Dutch only. Subscriptions are sold through our Dutch website. This English-language website describes the Dutch-language magazine; it is not an English edition.
