YOUR IDEA. YOUR CHOICES.

A clever tool. You choose.

AI is short for artificial intelligence. You say the letters ‘A’ and ‘I’. It can help a computer make things such as pictures and text. It can suggest ideas too, but those ideas are not always right.

A child and Pli plan a program using steps and arrows.

So why would you learn to code?

  1. You choose what to make

A game with a flying cat? A quiz for your friends? You decide what you like. Coding helps you learn how to build your idea one step at a time.

  2. You check if it works

A suggestion can sound sensible and still go wrong. Try it out and check the result for yourself.

  3. You make it your own

You can change a rule or try something new. You decide what the buttons do.

TRY IT YOURSELF · NO AI NEEDED

Sounds clever. But does it work?

Imagine a tool gives you this idea for your maze. ‘Put a wall in front of the only exit. That will make the game more exciting.’

  1. First, think: can the player still win?
  2. Draw it on paper and follow the path with your finger.
  3. What would you change about this idea?
What do you notice?

If the wall blocks the only exit, nobody can win. You could leave a gap somewhere. Then it is a challenge you can solve. You checked the idea and made it better.

What would you like to make?

Choose a game or a drawing. You do not need AI to get started. One small idea is enough.
